A catastrophic global epidemic has wiped out millions. Now the highly contagious infected have been contained. Bordering the containment area lies the Grey Zone. In this derelict no-man's-land, only the desperate survive...
In Final Run, renegade scavenger Kurt Boltares finds himself protecting Doctor Shizu Lee as they are forced to flee the containment area. Having betrayed their former leader, a ruthless mercenary they call the Chief, they know that if they can't escape, he'll have them killed. Or, if they're really unlucky... the Virus will get them first.
The Scavengers is an organisation led by the Chief. Kurt and Lee are both former members of this criminal alliance. Across the game you will run into various Scavengers who are keen to retaliate against you.
Across the game you will run into enemy vehicles.
In areas of heavy contamination, you run the risk of becoming infected. When you enter an area of heavy contamination, you gain access to the disinfect button, which triggers a prototype devices mounted to the inside of your car.
The counter next to the decontamination button displays your current contamination level. Wen this counter reaches 100%, you will be infected. Once you have killed all zombies in the area, the contamination level stabilizes.
To prevent infection of the airborne pathogen, you will have to timely disinfect your vehicle. The disinfect button can be used a limited number of times, the amount you can use it is displayed on the disinfect button. Make sure you eliminate the zombie threat before being infected yourself!
Much of the area around Gyrdon city has been occupied by a military presence in the past. A deadly reminder to their stay are the mines which are scattered around various areas! In order to escape from the wrath of the Scavengers, you may be required to pass mined roads!
Be careful not to drive onto fenced off mined zones, which contain mines buried in the soil!
When you run into a mine or water, your vehicle will be place in the level, without losing your progress. This is not true for enemy vehicles.
When shooting enemies they will be destroyed in several stages. When you deal enough damage they will partially explode, emitting a powerful shock wave. While enough to knock your car out of its heading, these explosions will not damage your vehicle!
Ramming other vehicles can be a very effective strategy, however it can also damage your own vehicle. Ramming becomes a more effective strategy with heavier vehicles.
The enemies you encounter are carrying armored plates. By ramming the enemy at speed you may be able to knock off the plates instantly, which leaves them more vulnerable.
Heavier vehicles are often armed with heavier weapons. Avoid direct contact with enemies which are carrying explosive ammunition or high caliber guns.
At the start of the game, you have access to two vehicles, the Scorpion and the Outlander, as well as the Assault Rifle. New options become available when you progress through the game. Once you have unlocked a new option, you will receive a notification at the end of the level!
Unlocks can be purchased in the Shop interface with the money you earn for completing level goals.
By completing levels and specific level goals, you receive with in-game currency. You can spend this in the Shop interface to buy previously unlocked Weapons and Vehicles!
When progressing through the game and completing level goals, you will gain access to new vehicles and weapons options.
The different vehicles all behave differently in the game, and may give you the edge in combat armor, racing or maneuverability. Make sure to try out all the different vehicles and learn their strengths and weaknesses!
Similar to unlocking vehicles, you will unlock new weapons when progressing through the game. All weapons have their own specific strengths and weaknesses, depending on what you are trying to use them for. Experiment with different weapons in different game modes to see what fits your style of play!

Final Run distinguishes in 2 types of controls, 'movement controls' and 'firing controls', the movement control types are handled in the section below.
The firing controls are on the right side of the screen. The Firing controls are dependent on what movement controls you have selected.
In the controls menu, with Accelerometer movement controls selected, you can customize the Maximum tilt angle and the Tilt dead zone angle.
The maximum tilt angle is the maximum angle you tilt your device to the left or right to turn as hard as possible. By reducing this angle, the tilt steering becomes more sensitive and requires smaller motions.
The tilt dead zone angle is the angle at which the vehicle starts turning.
Final Run provides support for iControlPad and iCade controllers. Sync your device as normal, Start Final Run and select 'BlueTooth' in Final Run's Controls Menu.
